EPA regional administrator to keynote Signature Series presented by Fidelity Investments

Friday, May 7, luncheon begins at noon
DFW Hyatt Regency at DFW Airport

Dr. Al Armendariz, regional administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, will keynote the North Texas Commission’s Signature Series presented by Fidelity Investments on Friday, May 7. The reception starts at 11:15 a.m. at the DFW Hyatt Regency Hotel. Dr. Armendariz will discuss “EPA@40: Look to the Past and Focus on the Future.”

Dr. Armendariz was appointed by President Obama as regional administrator. He is responsible for managing the EPA’s activities in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Armendariz was a professor for eight years at SMU in the Department of Environmental and Civil Engineering. Before joining SMU, he was a chemical engineer with Radian Corporation in North Carolina.
