    Welcome to the first edition of the E-Window, the new online newsletter from the North Texas Commission. E-Window will be taking the place of the quarterly newsletter with the goal of providing the same information you've come to expect from the NTC, but in an online format with more frequency.

    15th Annual Partners in Mobility Hosts Local Transportation Advocates in Austin

    North Texas Commission Arranges Surprise of a Lifetime for Welcome Home a Hero Greeter

    As a volunteer greeter for the Welcome Home a Hero program at DFW International Airport, Alicia Young witnesses many families reunited for the military's rest and recuperation program (R&R). On March 5, she became one of those families when her husband surprised her by coming home for his R&R early.

    The North Texas Future Fund announced the nominees and winners of the inaugural NTFF Bridge Awards at the NTFF Bridge Awards and Recognition Luncheon on April 7, 2009, at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth. Erma Johnson Hadley, vice chancellor of Tarrant County College, served as the keynote speaker of the luncheon.
