Fort Worth City Councilmember Jungus Jordan and Dallas City Councilmember Linda Koop are presented the 2009 TEAM Award with 2008 recipient North Richland Hills Mayor Oscar Trevino.
The North Texas Commission presents its Transportation Excellence Award in Mobility (TEAM) to four individuals that stood out as leaders in the region in transportation advocacy. State Senator John Carona, State Representative Vicki Truitt, Fort Worth City Councilmember Jungus Jordan and Dallas City Councilmember Linda Koop were honored at the 12th Annual Texas Transportation Summit on August 12 by NTC Chairman and former Fort Worth Mayor Kenneth Barr. The Air Traffic Control Tower at Fort Worth Alliance Airport has become an icon for the AllianceTexas development. A statue of former Fort Worth Mayor Bob Bolen is located at the base of the tower.
