Description: Dr. Stephen Mansfield and attorney Frank Sheeder will examine several key aspects of health reform: the changes ahead for hospitals and health care providers; and the effect on businesses and employee health plans. A question and answer session will follow the 20-minute presentation. Dr. Mansfield has served as president and CEO of Methodist Health System since 2006 and takes an active role with community and civic organizations. Before joining Methodist Health System, Mansfield served for six years as president and CEO of St. Vincent Health System in Little Rock, Ark. Sheeder is a partner in the law firm of Jones Day. His practice is focused on health care compliance and complex litigation. Sheeder advises clients from all segments of the health care industry, including hospitals, health systems and physician groups.
