People-Centered Cultures

"People-Centered Cultures" was presented by Toyota Motor North America. During the event, attendees heard from Sean Suggs, Toyota's Group Vice President, Social Innovation, as he shared his personal journey and inspired North Texans to create and develop people-centered company cultures. After Mr. Suggs' comments, Stephen Lewis, Toyota's General Manager of Diversity and Inclusion, led a panel conversation highlighting best practices on how to create people-centered company cultures. The panel featured Tatsumi Paredes, Toyota's Diversity & Inclusion Consulting Lead, Christina Brooks, the City of Fort Worth's Chief Equity Officer, and Melissa Corwin, AT&T's VP of Employee Experience. 

Resiliency & Employee Well-Being

Resiliency and Employee Well-Being was presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance. Attendees had the chance to hear a conversation between Liberty Mutual's Executive Vice President and Chief Talent & Enterprise Services Officer, Melanie Foley, and Assistant Director, AVP of Health & Well-Being Strategy, Sari Kalin, as they discussed the importance of resiliency and how it related to employee well-being. Following the keynote discussion, Patricia Mayers, Asst. Director of Global Strategy, Entities, and Partnerships, Liberty Mutual, led a panel featuring Liberty Mutual's Tiara Hunt, Sr. Project Manager, D&I Recruiting and Sourcing, Emmanuelle-Rothschild Le, Property Adjuster, and Jennifer Watson, VP and Manager of Executive Recruiting, Sourcing, and DE&I Talent Programs. 

Inclusion Matters

Inclusion Matters was presented by Fidelity Investments. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to hear from Wendy John, Head of Global Diversity & Inclusion at Fidelity Investments for a “less talk, more action” session on why inclusion (for all) matters now more than ever. Wendy was joined by Cate Ashley, Customer Inclusion Community Leader, Pam Everhart, Head of Public Affairs and Community Relations, Kirsten Kuykendoll, Head of Talent Acquisition, Hale Pulsifer, Customer Inclusion Accessibility Leader, and Byron Sanders, President and CEO, Big Thought to discuss the value of creating authentic inclusion in the workplace, with customers, and in our communities. 

The Power of Allyship

The Power of Allyship was presented by DFW Airport. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to hear an inspiring fireside chat between DFW's Executive Vice President of Administration, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Linda Valdez Thompson, and Vice President of Communications and Marketing, Dee Baker Amos. The conversation highlighted the Airport’s journey to create a culture of learning, listening, and being an Ally. Topics included the role of Allies and Allyship as an important building block for professional development and supplier diversity. Following that conversation, DFW employees and business partners shared how Allyship promotes a safe, welcome and inclusive workplace and supports economic prosperity in the North Texas region.

Highlighting Intersectional Experiences

Highlighting Intersectional Experiences was presented by Citi. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to hear an inspiring conversation featuring Citi's Robert Beckwith, Aerin Smith, Les (Blaze) Lafuente-Hayes, Duy Nguyen, Misty Bell Stiers, and Harris Robinowich.  The conversation highlighted how Citi employees viewed their professional experiences through an intersectional lens with a particular focus on being part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
