North Texas Commission Secures Executive Search Firm WhitneySmith Company

The North Texas Commission secured WhitneySmith Company to lead the executive recruitment for the next President and CEO of the North Texas Commission.


“We expect the search for our next President and CEO to be a thorough, competitive process in order to find the right leader for the North Texas Commission,” said Bob Pence, chairman of the North Texas Commission Selection Committee and president and CEO of Freese and Nichols. “The members of this organization are municipalities, businesses, healthcare providers and higher education institutions, and we are looking for a unique leader who can connect across the region.”


Marcellette Sherman, CAE, CFRE is serving as the Interim President and CEO of the 45-year-old regional non-profit organization. The North Texas Commission will announce the new President and CEO by the end of September 2016.
