Weekly Podcast Explores Quality of Life and Unique Workplaces in North Texas


North Texas – The North Texas Commission, a public-private non-profit organization, launched a new podcast series that shines a light on the offerings in and around the North Texas region. Topic: North Texas, presented by Dallas County Community College District, features weekly 30-minute episodes examining everything from the Dallas Arboretum to the Fort Worth Zoo, from how biotech innovations fuels our economy to unique workplaces attracting young talent. 


Topic: North Texas is not only a vehicle to educate North Texans about their community, but it also serves as a tool for our chambers and economic development professionals as a way to spread the message that our region is the best place to expand and relocate,” said Chris Wallace, president and CEO of the North Texas Commission.


Topic: North Texas is supported by Dallas County Community College District. To date, available episodes cover the Texas state legislature, the Dallas Arboretum, the police officer behind Southlake DPS’s award-winning social media feeds and the newly opened KidZania in Frisco. The podcasts are available through Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Soundcloud.
