North Texas Regional Airport Launches New Branding and Marketing Initiative
North Texas Regional Airport has begun a concerted effort to market the airport. The airport is a great asset to Grayson County; and the cities of Sherman and Denison, as well as the County as a whole, have contributed funding to develop and continue a consistent marketing plan. In addition to a new mission statement, value statement and goals, a new tagline was developed. “Catch the opportunity before it takes off” plays off the many opportunities for businesses looking to relocate to the North Texas area.

After the brand was created, the team worked together to refresh the airport’s logo to accurately portray the brand and updated Web site with a new design and refreshed content to maintain consistent messaging. Additional efforts to market the airport include a public relations campaign, updated sales materials and an in-depth analysis of business prospects.
“North Texas Regional Airport has much to offer companies that are looking to move or expand into the region,” said Grayson County Judge Drue Bynum. “With our central location between Dallas/Fort Worth and southern Oklahoma, we provide ease of moving goods throughout North Texas and Southern Oklahoma in a non-congested Class D airspace.”
Located 60 miles north of Dallas between Sherman and Denison, Texas, North Texas Regional Airport features two long/wide runways able to accommodate the largest commercial aircraft, two FBO’s, staffed air traffic control towers and 56 acres of concrete ramp space for airport parking. NTRA is also poised for growth with more than 325 acres of shovel-ready land and recently added utilities; as well as a business-friendly municipality poised to respond to immediate growth opportunities.
